INSTALLATION
1.
Install engine stand adapters (Figure 1, Item 3) on sides of engine (Figure 1, Item 1).
2.
Connect lifting slings and shackles to engine (Figure 1, Item 1).
WARNING
Do not lift marine gear and engine as complete unit. Lifting excessive loads at marine gear
lifting points could cause failure at these points. Failure to comply may result in personnel
injury or death, and/or damage to equipment.
3.
Using slings and shackles, position engine (Figure 1, Item 1) on engine stand (Figure 1, Item 2).
4.
Connect engine stand adapters (Figure 1, Item 3) to engine stand (Figure 1, Item 2).
5.
Disconnect lifting slings and shackles from engine (Figure 1, Item 1).

REMOVAL
1.
Connect lifting slings and shackles to engine (Figure 1, Item 1).

Using lifting slings and shackles, remove engine (Figure 1, Item 1) from engine stand (Figure 1, Item 2).
4.
Remove engine stand adapters (Figure 1, Item 3) from engine (Figure 1, Item 1).
