Remove three screws (Figure 2, Item 3) and two spring plates (Figure 2, Item 2) from auxiliary drive hub
(Figure 2, Item 1).

Mount blower drive support (Figure 3, Item 1) in vise equipped with soft jaw vise caps.
4.
Bend tabs of tab lockwasher (Figure 3, Item 3) away from nut (Figure 3, Item 2).
5.
Remove nut (Figure 3, Item 2) and tab lockwasher (Figure 3, Item 3) from blower drive support
(Figure 3, Item 1).

6.
Remove thrust washer (Figure 4, Item 5) and thrust bearing (Figure 4, Item 4) from blower support shaft
(Figure 4, Item 1).
7.
Remove drive gear (Figure 4, Item 3) and second thrust bearing (Figure 4, Item 2) from blower support shaft
(Figure 4, Item 1).
NOTE
If difference of measurements recorded in Steps 8 and 9 is greater than 0.005 in.
(0.0127 cm), use arbor press for bushing removal.
8.
Using micrometer, measure outside diameter of blower support shaft (Figure 4, Item 1) and record
measurement.
