Inspect lube oil pressure regulator valve body (Figure 1, Item 4) for clogged condition. Remove item causing
clogged condition.
4.
Inspect spring (Figure 1, Item 1) for deformation, pitting, breaks or corrosion. Replace defective part.
5.
Inspect spring seat (Figure 1, Item 2) for deformation. Replace defective part.
6.
Inspect spring seat retaining pin (Figure 1, Item 6) for corrosion or deformation. Replace defective part.
END OF TASK
ASSEMBLY
1.
Secure lube oil pressure regulator valve body (Figure 1, Item 4) in vise (Figure 1, Item 5).
WARNING
Fuel/Oil may cause irritation to eyes or skin. Wear protective goggles, gloves, and clothing.
Failure to comply may result in personnel injury or death.
2.
Using lubricating oil, lubricate lube oil regulator valve (Figure 1, Item 3).
3.
Insert lube oil pressure regulator valve (Figure 1, Item 3) into lube oil pressure regulator valve
body (Figure 1, Item 4) closed end first.
4.
Install spring (Figure 1, Item 1) into lube oil pressure regulator valve body (Figure 1, Item 4).
5.
Install spring seat (Figure 1, Item 2), open end first, into lube oil pressure regulator valve
body (Figure 1, Item 4).
WARNING
Cleaner may cause irritation to eyes or skin. In case cleaner comes in contact with eyes or
skin, immediately flush eyes with water, wash skin with soap and water. Wear protective
goggles, gloves, and clothing. Failure to comply may result in personnel injury or death.
6.
Install spring seat retaining pin (Figure 1, Item 6) into oil pressure regulator valve
body (Figure 1, Item 4) while compressing spring seat (Figure 1, Item 2).
