On the rear of engine, align the crankshaft gear (31) and the idler gear (32) so that the "R" on the teeth of each
gear line up.

2. Install the right-hand camshaft (11) into the engine block (21).

Align the right cam gear (8) so that the "R" on the idler gear (32) lines up with the "VR" on the cam gear (8).

Install the left-hand camshaft (10) into the engine block (21).

Align the left cam gear (4) so that the "V" on the left cam gear (4) lines up with the "V" on the right cam gear (8).
