REMOVAL
WARNING
Fuel/solvent/oil is slippery and may cause falls. Wipe up spillage immediately with rags.
Dispose of materials in accordance with local hazardous waste disposal procedures.
Failure to comply may result in personnel injury or death.
1.
Place a drain pan under fuel adapter block (Figure 1, Item 7).
2.
Remove fuel line (Figure 1, Item 2) from elbow (Figure 1, Item 1).
3.
Remove elbow (Figure 1, Item 1) from fuel adapter block (Figure 1, Item 7).
4.
Remove fuel line (Figure 1, Item 4) from elbow (Figure 1, Item 3).
5.
Remove elbow (Figure 1, Item 3) from fuel adapter block (Figure 1, Item 7).
6.
Remove fuel line (Figure 1, Item 6) from elbow (Figure 1, Item 5).
7.
Remove elbow (Figure 1, Item 5) from fuel adapter block (Figure 1, Item 7).

8.
Remove pipe plug (Figure 2, Item 4) from fuel adapter block (Figure 2, Item 8).
9.
Remove auto shutdown system fuel oil pressure switch elbow (Figure 2, Item 7) from fuel adapter block
(Figure 2, Item 8).
10.
Remove two capscrews (Figure 2, Item 1), lockwashers (Figure 2, Item 2), and flat washers
(Figure 2, Item 3) from fuel adapter block (Figure 2, Item 8).
11.
Remove fuel adapter block (Figure 2, Item 8) from thermostat housing (Figure 2, Item 6). Discard fuel
adapter block.
12.
Remove two spacers (Figure 2, Item 5) and retain for re-use.
