REMOVAL
1.
Disconnect drain hose (Figure 1, Item 10) from collector assembly (Figure 1, Item 2) as follows:
a.
Disconnect hose connector (Figure 1, Item 11) from elbow (Figure 1, Item 1).
b.
Move hose (Figure 1, Item 10) away from elbow (Figure 1, Item 1).
c.
Remove elbow (Figure 1, Item 1) from collector assembly (Figure 1, Item 2).
2.
Loosen bolt (Figure 1, Item 9), spacer (Figure 1, Item 8), lockwasher (Figure 1, Item 6) and nut
(Figure 1, Item 7) securing collector assembly (Figure 1, Item 2) to engine assembly.
3.
Loosen clamp (Figure 1, Item 4) securing collector assembly (Figure 1, Item 2) to intake hose
(Figure 1, Item 5).
4.
Slide collector assembly (Figure 1, Item 2) out of band (Figure 1, Item 3).
END OF TASK
INSTALLATION
1.
Slide collector assembly (Figure 1, Item 2) into band (Figure 1, Item 3).
2.
Position clamp (Figure 1, Item 4) and intake hose (Figure 1, Item 5) on collector assembly (Figure 1, Item 2)
position clamp on intake hose (Figure 1, Item 5).
3.
Tighten clamp (Figure 1, Item 4) on intake hose (Figure 1, Item 5) and collector assembly (Figure 1, Item 2).
4.
Position spacer (Figure 1, Item 8) and tighten bolt (Figure 1, Item 9), lockwasher (Figure 1, Item 6), and nut
(Figure 1, Item 7) to secure band (Figure 1, Item 4) to collector assembly (Figure 1, Item 2).
5.
Connect drain hose (Figure 1, Item 10) to collector assembly (Figure 1, Item 2) as follows:
a.
Install elbow (Figure 1, Item 1) on collector assembly (Figure 1, Item 2).
b.
Install hose connector (Figure 1, Item 11) onto elbow (Figure 1, Item 1).
c.
Position hose (Figure 1, Item 10) on elbow (Figure 1, Item 1).
