INSTALLATION
1.
Install new zinc anodes (Figure 3, Item 2) into support plugs (Figure 3, Item 1).
2.
Wrap support plug (Figure 3, Item 1) threads with antiseizing tape.
3.
Install support plugs (Figure 3, Item 1) with zinc anodes (Figure 3, Item 2) into heat exchanger
(Figure 3, Item 3).
4.
Tighten support plugs (Figure 3, Item 1).
5.
Remove LO/TO from A3 breaker switch. Refer to FM 4-01.502 for LO/TO procedure.
6.
Start engine (TM 55-1925-205-10).
7.
Start bilge pumps to remove raw water from bilge (TM 55-1925-205-10).
8.
Stop engine (TM 55-1925-205-10).
