The emergency air shutdown was activated.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
1.
Reset emergency air shutdown solenoid valve (TM 55-1925-205-10).
2.
Perform operational check of diesel engine (TM 55-1925-205-10).
MALFUNCTION
Cold pack starting aid out of ether.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
1.
Replace cold pack starting aid (WP 0165).
2.
Perform operational check of diesel engine (TM 55-1925-205-10).
MALFUNCTION
Engine requires a tune-up.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
1.
Perform engine tune-up. Contact Maintenance Supervisor.
2.
Perform operational check of diesel engine (TM 55-1925-205-10).
MALFUNCTION
One or more damaged pistons and liners.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
1.
Rebuild pistons and liners. Contact Maintenance Supervisor.

Ensure marine gear is disengaged (TM 55-1925-205-10).
