REPAIR
1.
Inspect block plate (Figure 1, Item 2) gasket surfaces for scratches, gouges, nicks, dents, cracks or warping.
2.
Discard any block plate (Figure 1, Item 2) that is warped or cracked.
3.
Using 320 grit abrasive cloth, polish out any nicks, dents, scratches or gouges.
4.
Discard any block plate (Figure 1, Item 2) that can not be repaired with abrasive cloth.
5.
Support block plate (Figure 1, Item 2) on flat surface.
6.
Using arbor press, remove two threaded screw inserts (Figure 1, Item 1) from front side of block plate
(Figure 1, Item 2). Discard threaded screw inserts.
7.
Using arbor press, remove eight new threaded screw inserts (Figure 1, Item 3) from back side of block plate
(Figure 1, Item 2). Discard threaded screw inserts.
8.
Using arbor press, install two new threaded screw inserts (Figure 1, Item 1) in front side of block plate
(Figure 1, Item 2).
9.
Using arbor press, install eight new threaded screw inserts (Figure 1, Item 3) in front side of block plate
(Figure 1, Item 2).
