INSTALLATION
WARNING
Compound may cause irritation to eyes or skin. In case compound comes in contact with
eyes or skin, immediately flush eyes with water, wash skin with soap and water. Wear
protective goggles, gloves, and clothing. Failure to comply may result in personnel injury
or death.
CAUTION
Crankshaft must be clean and smooth. Failure to follow procedures may cause damage to
oil seal lip.
NOTE
Polishing motion should be clockwise around end of crankshaft.
1.
Polish end of crankshaft (Figure 12, Item 3) with abrasive cloth wet with engine lubricating oil.

2.
Lubricate gear train teeth (Figure 12, Item 1) with engine lubricating oil.
3.
Install new crankshaft rear oil seal (WP 0062).
