WARNING
Do not exceed 40 PSI (280 kPa) when using compressed air for drying components. Failure
to comply may result in serious injury to personnel.

Use compressed air to dry piston crown.
WARNING
Compound may cause irritation to eyes or skin. In case compound comes in contact with eyes or
skin, immediately flush eyes with water, wash skin with soap and water. Wear protective goggles,
gloves, and clothing. Failure to comply may result in personnel injury or death.
CAUTION
Do not use glass bead blaster to clean piston skirt. Failure to comply could result in damage
to the equipment.
6.
Using cleaner, clean the piston skirt (11).
7.
Using cleaning compound, clean the remaining parts.
8. Place the liner (2) in a metal basket and immerse in a tank of cleaning compound.
WARNING

9. Dry liner using compressed air.
