REMOVAL
1.
Loosen clamps (Figure 1, Item 9).
2.
Disconnect hose (Figure 1, Item 8) from side of exhaust elbow (Figure 1, Item 5).
3.
Loosen clamps (Figure 1, Item 6).
4.
Disconnect hose (Figure 1, Item 7) from exhaust elbow (Figure 1, Item 5).
5.
Remove four cap screws (Figure 1, Item 4), washers (Figure 1, Item 3), and clamps (Figure 1, Item 2)
securing exhaust elbow (Figure 1, Item 5) to turbocharger (Figure 1, Item 1).
6.
Remove exhaust elbow (Figure 1, Item 5).
7.
Remove gasket (Figure 1, Item 10) from turbocharger (Figure 1, Item 1).
8.
Position drain pan beneath turbocharger (Figure 1, Item 1).

WARNING

Fuel/solvent/oil is slippery and may cause falls. Wipe up spillage immediately with
rags. Dispose of materials in accordance with local hazardous waste disposal
procedures. Failure to comply may result in personnel injury or death and/or
damage to equipment.
9.
Remove coolant lines (Figure 2, Items 2 and 3) and petcock (Figure 2, Item 1) from turbocharger
(Figure 2, Item 4).
