Tag and disconnect two flat spade electrical connectors (Figure 2, Items 1 and 2).
4.
Remove tachometer sending unit (Figure 2, Item 3) from tachometer drive adapter (Figure 2, Item 4).
Discard sending unit.

INSTALLATION
1.
Install new tachometer sending unit (Figure 2, Item 3) onto the tachometer drive adapter (Figure 2, Item 4).
2.
Connect two flat spade electrical connectors (Figure 2, Items 1 and 2) as tagged.

Remove LO/TO from A3 breaker switch. Refer to FM 4-01.502 for LO/TO procedure.
