ASSEMBLY
WARNING
Fuel/Oil may cause irritation to eyes or skin. Wear protective goggles, gloves, and clothing.
Failure to comply may result in personnel injury or death.
1.
Apply a thin coat of lubricating oil to threads of tachometer drive (Figure 1, Item 3).
2.
Install new tachometer drive (Figure 1, Item 3) in housing assembly (Figure 1, Item 4).
3.
Install new gasket (Figure 1, Item 2).
CAUTION
Make sure tachometer drive lines up with slot of machine screw on blower drive gear.
Failure to comply may cause damage to blower and tachometer drive.
4.
Install tachometer drive (Figure 1, Item 3) and housing assembly (Figure 1, Item 4) on blower cover
(Figure 1, Item 1).
END OF TASK
INSTALLATION
1.
Install clamp (Figure 1, Item 5) onto blower cover (Figure 1, Item 1).
2.
Tighten bolt (Figure 1, Item 7).
3.
Tighten jam nut (Figure 1, Item 6).
