BENCH ADJUSTMENT - Continued
6.
Turn power supply, frequency counter, and signal generator on.
7.
Adjust input frequency on signal generator to set point determined in Step 1.
8.
Set signal generator output level to 1 Volts Alternating Current (VAC) or greater.
9.
Verify ohmmeter reads zero ohms.
10.
Turn set point pot (Figure 5, Item 2) counterclockwise slowly until ohmmeter reads an open circuit.
11.
Recheck set point adjustment.
a.
Lower frequency setting on signal generator.
b.
Turn on and then back off and then back on power.
c.
d.
Repeat Steps 5 through 11 if it fails.

INSTALLATION
1.
Install four screws (Figure 4, Item 8), washers (Figure 4, Item 7), and nuts (Figure 4, Item 4) to secure
speed switch (Figure 4, Item 6) on mounting plate (Figure 4, Item 5).
2.
Install four cap screws (Figure 4, Item 1), washers (Figure 4, Item 2), and nuts (Figure 4, Item 3) to secure
mounting plate (Figure 4, Item 5) to overspeed governor box (Figure 3, Item 2).
3.
Install four nuts (Figure 3, Item 5) and new lockwashers (Figure 3, Item 4) on cap screws (Figure 3, Item 3)
to secure overspeed governor box (Figure 3, Item 2) to engine.
4.
Install wiring harness (Figure 3, Item 1) to overspeed governor box (Figure 3, Item 2).
5.
Install stuffing tube retaining cap (Figure 3, Item 6) and stuffing tube packing (Figure 3, Item 7) to stuffing
tube (Figure 3, Item 8).
6.
Install wiring harness (Figure 2, Item 5) on speed switch (Figure 2, Item 1).
7.
Position MAIN circuit breaker (Figure 1, Item 1) on propulsion module circuit breaker panel A6 to on.
8.
Adjust overspeed governor switch (TM 55-1925-205-10).
