INSTALLATION
1.
Align woodruff key (Figure 2, Item 2) with woodruff key slot in camshaft (Figure 2, Item 3).
2.
Using rubber mallet, tap woodruff key (Figure 2, Item 2) into slot until seated on camshaft (Figure 2, Item 3).
WARNING
Fuel/Oil may cause irritation to eyes or skin. Wear protective goggles, gloves, and clothing.
Failure to comply may result in personnel injury or death.
3.
Lubricate camshaft (Figure 2, Item 3) with lubricating oil.
4.
Install new vibration damper (Figure 2, Item 1) on camshaft (Figure 2, Item 3).
5.
Using rubber mallet, strike vibration damper (Figure 1, Item 1) evenly on all sides until seated.
6.
Install washer (Figure 1, Item 4), new lockwasher (Figure 1, Item 2), and bolt (Figure 1, Item 3) on vibration
damper (Figure 1, Item 1).
7.
Using torque wrench and socket set, torque bolt (Figure 1, Item 3) to 300 in-lb (34 Nm).

Install alternator belt guard (TM 55-1925-205-23).

Install powered section engine hatch (TM 55-1925-205-23).
7.
Install powered section intake plenum or operator's cab (TM 55-1925-205-23).
8.
Install main navigation mast (TM 55-1925-205-23).
9.
Install SINCGARS antenna (TM 11-5820-890-10-8).
10.
Perform operational checks (TM 55-1925-205-10).
