Dispose of contaminated cleaning cloths in accordance with (IAW) local procedures.
9.
Inspect breather element (Figure 1, Item 5) for tearing. Replace damaged parts.
10.
Install new seal (Figure 1, Item 7) and breather housing (Figure 1, Item 1) on cylinder head poppet valve
rocker arm cover (Figure 1, Item 2).
11.
Position retainer (Figure 1, Item 6), breather element (Figure 1, Item 5), and retaining plate
(Figure 1, Item 4) on cylinder head poppet valve rocker arm cover (Figure 1, Item 2).
12.
Install screw (Figure 1, Item 3) in retaining plate (Figure 1, Item 4) and tighten.
13.
Clean up spilled fluid with hazardous material spill kit and dispose of spill kit waste IAW local procedures.

FOLLOW-ON MAINTENANCE
1.
Install cylinder head poppet valve rocker arm cover (WP 0044).
2.
Install engine air inlet collector assembly (WP 0104).
3.
Install crankcase breather limiter assembly (WP 0106).
4.
Install engine hatch (TM 55-1925-205-23).
5.
Install operator's cab (TM 55-1925-205-10).
6.
Install intake plenum assembly (TM 55-1925-205-10).
7.
Install main navigation mast (TM 55-1925-205-10).
8.
Install SINCGARS antenna (TM 11-5820-890-10-8).
