NOTE
This task is typical for each fuel manifold connection group and for both sides of engine.
REMOVAL
1.
Remove metal tube assembly (Figure 1, Item 1).
2.
Remove manifold (Figure 1, Item 2), flat washer (Figure 1, Item 3), and nonmetallic seal (Figure 1, Item 5).
Discard nonmetallic seal (Figure 1, Item 5).
END OF TASK
CLEANING
WARNING
Cleaner may cause irritation to eyes or skin. In case cleaner comes in contact with eyes or
skin, immediately flush eyes with water, wash skin with soap and water. Wear protective
goggles, gloves, and clothing. Failure to comply may result in personnel injury or death.
1.
Clean metal tube assembly (Figure 1, Item 1), manifold (Figure 1, Item 2), and flat washer (Figure 1, Item 3)
using solution of cleaner and water.
WARNING
Do not exceed 40 PSI (280 kPa) when using compressed air for drying components.
Failure to comply may result in serious injury to personnel.
2.
Using dry compressed air, dry metal tube assembly (Figure 1, Item 1), manifold (Figure 1, Item 2), and flat
washer (Figure 1, Item 3).
