CLEANING - Continued
WARNING
Cleaning compound may cause irritation to the eyes or skin. Use in well-ventilated areas.
Wear protective goggles and clothing. In case cleaning compound comes in contact with:
Eyes, flush immediately with water.
Skin, wash with soap and water.
Failure to comply may result in personnel injury.

Clean cylinder head using cleaning compound.
WARNING
Keep away from hanging loads, heavy parts, and overhead equipment. Never crawl under
equipment when performing maintenance unless equipment is securely blocked. Use
suitable lifting devices to move hanging loads and heavy parts. Equipment may fall. Always
use a helper to guide load. Failure to comply may result in personnel injury or death.
6.
Attach crane to lifting fixture (Figure 2, Item 2). Lift cylinder head (Figure 2, Item 1) out of degreaser tank.

Use caution when cleaning cylinder head with hot water or steam. Wear protective goggles
and clothing. Failure to comply may result in personnel injury or death.
7.
Rinse cylinder head (Figure 2, Item 2) with clear hot water or steam clean.
