INSPECTION
NOTE
Repair is limited to replacement of damaged components.
1.
Inspect control tube (Figure 1, Item 4), control lever (Figure 1, Item 1), and rack control levers
(Figure 1, Item 5) for excessive wear, scratches, score marks, helix chipping, abrasion, and other
deterioration. Replace defective parts.
2.
Inspect yield springs (Figure 1, Items 6 and 9) and return spring (Figure 1, Item 3) for rust and corrosion.
Replace defective parts.
