WARNING
Fuel is flammable and should not be exposed to open flame. Always keep fire
extinguisher within easy reach when working with fuel.
Fuel is toxic and may cause irritation to the eyes, lungs, or skin. Always wear eye
and hand protection, and ensure that you are in a well-ventilated area when
handling fuel.
Fuel is slippery and may cause falls. Mop up spills immediately.
Fuel is an environmental hazard. Accidental or intentional introduction of liquid
contaminants into the environment may result in a violation of state, federal, and
military regulations. Refer to local environmental office for information concerning
storage, use, and disposal of these liquids.
Failure to comply may result in personnel injury, death, and/or damage to equipment and
environment.

Place cleaning cloth under inlet fuel line (Figure 3, Item 9) and outlet port fuel line (Figure 3, Item 7) to
absorb spilled fuel when disconnecting lines.
5.
Disconnect inlet fuel line (Figure 3, Item 9) from inlet port elbow (Figure 3, Item 5).
6.
Disconnect outlet port fuel line (Figure 3, Item 7) from outlet port elbow (Figure 3, Item 6).
7.
Remove three nylon patch bolts (Figure 3, Item 4) securing fuel pump (Figure 3, Item 8) to governor housing
(Figure 3, Item 1).
8.
Remove fuel pump (Figure 3, Item 8) from governor housing (Figure 3, Item 1).
9.
Remove old gasket (Figure 3, Item 2) from governor housing (Figure 3, Item 1). Discard gasket.
