WARNING
When using grinder, proper protection equipment must be worn. Failure to comply

Flying particles and debris are present. Wear protective goggles. Failure to comply
may result in personnel injury or death.
1.
Using valve grinding machine and 30 degree grinding stone, grind off as little metal as possible to repair
valve (Figure 2, Item 1) face.
WARNING
Compound may cause irritation to eyes or skin. In case compound comes in contact with
eyes or skin, immediately flush eyes with water, wash skin with soap and water. Wear
protective goggles, gloves, and clothing. Failure to comply may result in personnel injury
or death.
2.
Using cleaning cloth and cleaner, clean valve (Figure 2, Item 1).
3.
Inspect valve (Figure 2, Item 1) face for ridges, cracks, and pitting.
4.
Repeat Steps 1 and 2 if required.
