Using torque wrench, torque bolts (Figure 1, Item 19) to 360 to 420 in-lb (41 to 47 Nm).
3.
Install oil pump screen (Figure 1, Item 5) on tube assembly (Figure 1, Item 1) as follows:
a.
Place new gasket (Figure 1, Item 7), cover (Figure 1, Item 6), and oil pump screen (Figure 1, Item 5)
over flanged end of tube assembly (Figure 1, Item 1).
b.
Attach oil pump screen (Figure 1, Item 5), cover (Figure 1, Item 6), and new gasket (Figure 1, Item 7)
to tube assembly (Figure 1, Item 1) with two bolts (Figure 1, Item 2), four washers (Figure 1, Item 3),
two spacers (Figure 1, Item 4), and two nuts (Figure 1, Item 13).
c.
Using torque wrench, torque bolts (Figure 1, Item 2) to 156 to 204 in-lb (18 to 23 Nm).

FOLLOW-ON MAINTENANCE
1.
Install lube oil pan (WP 0127).
2.
Remove engine from stand (WP 0033).
3.
Install lube oil cooler (WP 0128).
4.
Install marine gear oil cooler mounting bracket (WP 0158).
5.
Install overspeed governor (WP 0169).
6.
Install lube oil level dipstick tube assembly (WP 0130).
7.
Install starting motor (WP 0164).
8.
Install air box drains (WP 0037).
9.
Install air box covers (WP 0036).
10.
Install fuel cooler (WP 0110).
11.
Install marine gear oil cooler (TM 55-2040-21124).
12.
Install exhaust manifolds (WP 0157).
13.
Install turbochargers (WP 0114).
14.
Install air inlet collector assembly (WP 0104).
15.
Install crankcase breather limiter assembly (WP 0106).
