WARNING
Compound may cause irritation to eyes or skin. In case compound comes in contact with
eyes or skin, immediately flush eyes with water, wash skin with soap and water. Wear
protective goggles, gloves, and clothing. Failure to comply may result in personnel injury
or death.
d. Apply a light coat of sealing compound to the mating surfaces of both the blower housing
(Figure 15, Item 1) and the rear end plate (Figure 15, Item 4).

blower housing (Figure 15, Item 1).
f.
Push or tap the rear end plate (Figure 15, Item 4) all the way down against the blower housing
(Figure 15, Item 1), ensuring that the front end plate (Figure 15, Item 4) is lying flat against the
blower housing (Figure 15, Item 1).
NOTE
Do not use lock washers on fillister head screws.
g. Insert two fillister head screws (Figure 15, Item 5) through the rear end plate (Figure 15, Item 4)
and into the blower housing (Figure 15, Item 1).
h. Using a torque wrench and screwdriver socket wrench set, torque
fillister head screws (Figure 15, Item 5) to 60 - 120 in. lbs (7 - 14 Nm).
